The CHW Guidance Department
The Joan Katz Guidance Center at Cherry Hill High School West fully
believes in human development and potential. We see each individual student as
having substantial personal resources, and we endeavor to help students utilize
all these resources. To that end, the Guidance Department works closely with
instructional staff, school administrators, and families to identify and to
support the best interest of students. The Guidance Department strongly believes
in the continuation of a viable, informed democracy through support of
education, development of goals, and support of citizenship

Naviance
Naviance is a web-based service designed especially for students and
parents. It is a comprehensive website that students and parents can use to help
in making decisions about courses, colleges, and careers. Naviance is linked
with each individual high schools application history and data, so it provides
up-to-date information that’s specific to Cherry Hill West and East.
Naviance will allow parents and students to research colleges,
compare GPA, standardized test scores, and other statistics
to actual historical data from our school for students who have applied and been
admitted in the past.
Naviance also lets us share information with you and your child about upcoming
meetings and events, local scholarship opportunities, and other Web resources
for college and career information.
launch the West Family Connection portal, powered by Naviance technology.
Students and parents will find this to be a useful tool in the college search
process. Each Junior will be given a login to maintain their college search
information.
NOTE: The password to enter the site as a guest is "westparent".
